On 24 June 2024, we published a joint statement with the Institute for Government and UCL Constitution Unit setting out seven steps to restore trust in system for regulating ethics in public life.

On 1 November 2024, we followed the standards statement up with a second letter in The Times, signed by Dr Hannah White, Professor Meg Russell, Dominic Grieve and Sir Peter Riddell. Building on the seven steps, it urged the Prime Minister to strengthen the UK’s ethical landscape.
